Call of Duty: Ghosts Discounted
Call of Duty: Ghosts Discounted on Amazon Titanfall fault
"The long-anticipated Titanfall beta has reached the public, and pretty much anyone with an Xbox One or PC is getting in on the action to see what they can expect when the full game releases later this year. However, Call of Duty: Ghosts is also getting in on the action, discounted to $39.99 on Amazon for a select group of Amazon shoppers.
In what we can only guess to be an effort to try and distract gamers away from the Titanfall beta, Amazon has sent discount promo codes to “valued Amazon.com customers of the Xbox One.” The retailer has sent out these unique codes to gamers who most likely pre-ordered the Xbox One last year in anticipation for the consoles launch in November."

Print yourself a bike!!!
Everything in this generation is possible , you can even print a bike!
"Without doubt, the most interesting bike at this weekend’s London Bike Show is Empire’s 3D printed titanium trail bike. Based on the brand’s innovative 6in-travel aluminium MX6, the titanium prototype is a collaboration with additive manufacturing firm Renishaw and was built in the UK. We spoke to Empire’s Chris Williams about the project, and about 3D printing’s likely role in the future of the bike industry.
Six months to build a frame probably sounds like quite a long time to you or I, but in engineering terms, it’s nothing. “We were starting from nothing” says Williams, “there’s nothing in the world like this, so we were starting from scratch so I think that
timing is actually very quick. And to go to a rideable product that quickly is unheard of.”

Valentines present from Rockstar Games !!
valentines are coming up and Rockstar games have a present for you :)
"Rockstar is updating GTA Online with some Valentine’s Day perks for players. Releasing this Friday, the Valentine’s Day Massacare Special will feature new weapons, vehicles, clothes, and jobs for players to perform. An update from Rockstar says that the items will only be available for a limited time, but once players download the new content, it will be in their inventory forever.
NEW WEAPON: GUSENBERG SWEEPER
Nothing says “I love you” quite like the warm wooden grip and cold steel barrel of a Gusenberg Sweeper machine gun. Get it from any Ammu-Nation location in GTA Online (in Story Mode, the Sweeper is automatically deposited into each character’s weapon inventory with two full clips and additional ammo can be purchased at Ammu-Nation).
NEW VEHICLE: ALBANY ROOSEVELT
Paint the town red in the classically-inspired Albany Roosevelt. This armored 1920s limousine is perfect for gangsters and their molls. To properly run amok with the new Roosevelt, get in the driver’s seat and let your friends or Crewmates hang off the side, firing and taking out your rivals as you pass them by. The Roosevelt can be accessed from any garage property in Story Mode and is available in GTA Online from the legendarymotorsport.net in-game website.
NEW ATTIRE
Dress to the nines in a host of new double breasted suits and 1920s flapper dresses, or bare it all in sexy undergarments while going incognito with a selection of new masquerade masks. There are also new novelty t-shirts, hats and more available in stores throughout Los Santos, plus a new Flapper Bob hairstyle exclusively for the ladies.
10 NEW JOBS
The Valentine’s Day Massacre also includes 10 new Jobs scattered like the remnants of a broken heart throughout the world of GTA Online, including Deathmatches, a new Parachute Jump and new land, sea and cycling Races."

Next call of duty from Sledgehammer
Activision revealed that Sledgehammer was developing 2014’s Call of Duty game.
"“Sledgehammer is approaching this as a next-gen-first development,” says Hirshberg. “Obviously in the console-transition year, anyone who developed a cross-generational game last year had to deal with the fact that the technology of the next-gen platforms was still coming into focus and changing quite a bit during the development process…. Now that we have the next-gen hardware out in the marketplace and solid, that is our primary development.”
Details are still scarce on how the title will take advantage of the new platforms, but solving those issues is partly why Activision has brought in Sledgehammer and moved Treyarch and Infinity Ward to three-year development schedules. Hirshberg explains, “On the two-year cycle, with the level of content we were putting in the games, it became a real horse race each and every time to get everything done that we wanted to get done. With next-gen hardware, Hirshberg coninues, “we’ve got more capabilities than ever before to play with and we want to make sure our developers have the time to innovate, iterate, to bring the best creative vision and the most possible polish to each and every game.”
Activision expects Sledgehammer’s Call of Duty to be different from what’s been offered by Infinity Ward and Treyarch. “We give each of our studios a lot of independence,” he says. Seeing the work Sledgehammer did helping Infinity Ward with Modern Warfare 3, Activision’s message to the new studio is “You know what makes this thing great; now go do it your way.” Unfortunately, Activision isn’t quite ready to talk specifically about what Sledgehammer’s Call of Duty will be like, only saying, “the proof will be in the pudding,” adding, “When you see it, hopefully, you’ll see what I’m talking about.”
Hirshberg also assures fans worried about the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions that 2014’s Call of Duty “will also be a great current-gen game.” The publisher recognizes 2014 as a continuation of last year’s console transition. “There are still a lot of people playing on current gen,” says Hirshberg “and we want to deliver a great experience for them as well. But it will be a next-gen-first production and the current-gen game will be a version of that.”"

4K in your Smartphone !!!
Full HD on your smartphone is not enough? well here is 4k for you .....
"The ultra-high-definition (UHD) video is not coming only to living rooms and cabinets, it is coming to every device possible, catalyzing new levels of performance across the continuum of computing devices. NPD DisplaySearch predicts that as many as 23 million of smartphones with screens featuring 3840*2160 resolution will be shipped next year.
geforce |
Global smartphone shipments are expected to reach 1.2 billion in 2014. With a three-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13%, shipments will rise to 1.7 billion by 2017. Although entry-level smartphones priced below $200 will account for 35% of total smartphone shipments in 2014, the average display resolution will continue to increase globally.Global shipments of smartphones with high-definition (HD) and full-high-definition (FHD) screens are forecast to reach 570 million in 2014. Displays with 2560*1440 or 2560*1600 (also known as wide-quad-HD or 2K) shipments are also expected to reach significant levels. NPD DisplaySearch forecasts 41 million will ship in 2014.
According to NPD DisplaySearch, 4K displays will account for more than 5% of smartphone shipments in North America and Japan in 2015, and just under 5% in Western Europe.
AUO, JDI, Samsung, and other display-panel manufacturers already have 2K displays in production, and applications processor and GPU (graphic processor unit) vendors have products ready to support and handle display resolutions beyond 1080p.
All told, smartphones with HD and higher display resolutions will comprise over half of global shipments in 2014, up from 29% in 2013."

Sony cuts 5000 Jobs
Sony has had a rocky couple of years. This week the company announced yet another round of job cuts after failing to deliver a turnaround in its money-losing television and PC units.
"The Japanese electronics firm said as part of its restructuring plans it would reduce its overheads by £600m a year.
Approached by Sky News, Sony UK declined to say what impact this would on its British workforce.
It said "drastic changes" in the computer market meant it would now focus on smartphones and tablets and "cease planning, design and development of PC products".
Large losses in the television sector have previously thwarted the company's ability to compete with smartphone manufacturers Apple and Samsung.
Sony now expects a full-year loss of £660m in the fiscal year ending in March.
This comes after the maker of the iconic Walkman personal stereo and maker of Spider-Man movies held its fiscal year sales projection unchanged at £46bn.
For the fiscal year ending in March 2013, Sony had recorded a £260m profit, despite the firm suffering a £65m loss in the last three months of 2012.
In the latest third quarter it has reported a 24% sales rise, as it expanded smartphone and mobile computing device offerings.
The job cuts - 3,500 overseas and 1,500 in Japan - are to hit Sony's PC and TV divisions and are expected to be implemented by March next year.
It said the Vaio PC division would be sold to Japan Industrial Partners investment fund, in a deal reportedly worth £240m.
Sony will retain a 5% stake in the fund. The TV sector will be unloaded into a separate unit before August this year."

Virtual Reality Oculus Rift in O2 advert!!
Mobile O2 network have Oculus Rift in advert, that means virtual reality is just around the corner?
"To coincide with the start of the Six Nations tournament, O2 has created a virtual training experience using the Oculus Rift headset that lets fans experience a session with the England national rugby team.
Created using nine GoPro Hero 3 cameras on a custom built gimble, around 160 hours of footage was taken for development using Oculus Rift's virtual reality technology.
The resulting experience lets users step onto the training field and turn their heads, with the view and content responding in unison around them. Users can engage in drills alongside the real players from the squad.
“We’ll transport you into the virtual rugby boots of the England squad, taking in the heart pounding action of a full training session," said Nina Bibby, marketing and consumer director at O2.
"This exciting technology really has to be experienced to be believed and we’re looking forward to bringing it to rugby fans across the UK this year.”
O2 will be releasing more details on where you can go to try the experience later this month.
Mike Catt, England attacking skills coach said: “It was great to work with O2 on the development of ‘Wear the Rose’, getting to see the technology used for the first time in sport was fantastic.
We tried to re-create as authentic an England training session for rugby fans as possible, and we really hope they enjoy the experience.”"

upcoming Ps4 game droping FPS down to 30
The information below is showing us that unfortunately, next gen consoles are already behind PC
"The Order: 1886 will not feature a multiplayer mode and is instead designed as a single-player only title, according to developer Ready at Dawn.
The studio's chief technical officer and co-founder Andrea Pessino made the announcement on Twitter, describing the title as a "single player, third person action adventure game."
When asked why the decision was made, Pessino followed up by explaining, "better to do one thing well than a whole bunch half-assed. :) We are trying to make a SP experience you will enjoy."
There was an expectation that, seeing as the game is set to follow a squad of characters, there may be opportunities for co-op play. It seems now, however, that this won't be the case. A wealth of Sony's PlayStation 4 exclusives seem to be focusing on single-player mode; it was recently confirmed that Infamous: Second Son would lack multiplayer too.
news.com |
Elsewhere in an interview with Play3 (via Gaming Bolt), studio head Ru Weerasuriya explained the game would run at 30 FPS and 1080p, as this is what works best for the game. “Currently we do not aim [for] 60 frames per second," he said. "In a first person shooter that [surely] makes sense. Also fighting games are undoubtedly predestined for 60 frames.
“But for us, the cinematic experience is in the foreground [basically focus] – presented in full HD 1080p. In favor of spectacular effects and the highest resolution we restrict ourselves to a fluid 30 frames per second.”
gamers |
First announced at last year's E3, information on the upcoming title has slowly been trickling out, including rumours of a release window. Hopefully it won't be too long before we get a more sizeable update on the intriguing game."

Glasses for $3,000
New glasses are ready for pre-order only for 3,000$
"Augmented reality startup Meta has spent the past few years making prototypes of wearable devices featuring see-through optics and a wide variety of sensor arrays. Now it’s starting production on its first generation of units for developers and taking pre-orders for a consumer-facing version of its product.
Meta had previously pre-sold an earlier iteration of its wearable device, called the META.01, which was designed to appeal to early adopters and developers who wish to design for the platform. The META.01 was priced at $667, as part of its effort to get developers on board with the technology.
But they were also pretty crude in terms of what they look like and how functional they are: The META.01s have to be plugged into a computer to work, for instance, but that’s fine for now, since they’re meant to be programmed on. They’re also pretty boxy and geeky looking, but again, as a developer kit we’re talking about function over form.
Here’s how my colleague Greg Kumparak described them:
To picture the Meta, picture a pair of glasses — or, more accurately in its current stage, a pair of safety goggles. Put a translucent, reflective surface in each eye piece, displaying images on top of your field of view as piped out of a tiny projector built into each arm of the frames. Take a couple tiny RGB/Infrared cameras — essentially a miniature Kinect — and strap them to the frame. That’s the Meta.Well, the META.01 units that were pre-ordered are now getting ready to ship, which means the company believe it’s the right time to jump into its second phase of production and create some consumer demand for its product.
The consumer version of the glasses will be a lot sleeker — indeed, I’ve seen an early prototype and they look a lot more like something you’d actually wear out and about. But they’re also even more powerful than the META.01 version that developers and early adopters got to play with.
meta pro |
The display includes ultra-thin see-through optics with a 40-degree field of vision. Each display is built to play 720p HD, and with two of them, they’re aligned to display stereoscopic 3D. The sensor array will include dual RGB video and photo sensors, as well as nine-axis tracking with accelerometer, gyroscope, and compass included.
The combination of optics and sensors means that Meta and third-party developers can overlay a whole bunch of interesting things into your field of view that you can interact with. In addition to developing the glasses, Meta’s also done a bunch of work creating software that can recognize hand gestures and display video in 3D. If you haven’t seen a demo yourself, again, read Greg’s post about the capabilities.
To make it all work, Meta has put some serious technology under the hood. The Meta Pro will ship with an i5 CPU, 4GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. The whole package will cost $3,000, and the company hopes to ship by June.
Google Glass might be the first really functional wearable display technology, but Meta is hoping to do a lot more. And for double the price, it should. The Meta Pro has 15x the display of Google Glass, and runs 3-D instead of just 2-D. Its optics are thinner, at 2mm vs 5mm, and its sensors recognize hand gestures, which makes control a lot easier than touching the side of your face.
Then again, Google Glass isn’t the only competitor out there. Oculus VR just raised $75 million to bring its virtual reality goggles to the masses. And it already has 42,000 developer units out in the wild.
It’ll take some time for augmented and virtual reality to become mainstream, let alone to determine who wins that space. In the meantime, the new Meta Pro wearables look like an attractive choice for early adopters."

XBOX ONE WHITE!
I have rumors about new xbox one special version check it out.
"Microsoft is reportedly working to bring a range of different Xbox One models to market, including its white employee-only one, along with disc-less and 1TB hard drive versions.
The report comes from an alleged insider on NeoGAF, though The Verge has been able to verify elements of the claims independently.
Please note that none of the below statements have been confirmed by Microsoft. IGN has reached out to try and verify what we can, but until then do not take any of the below as fact.
The forum poster claims that a white version of the Xbox One will be made available alongside Sunset Overdrive in October. While The Verge doesn't confirm the timing, it has verified that the company is planning to release the white console this year. The forum poster also claims a limited edition 1TB model of the Xbox One will launch a month later in November.
Other rumours include a Xbox One console is on the way without a Blu-Ray drive, but with a bluetooth adapter. While no time frame is given for this, again The Verge claims that Microsoft has been testing such a device internally.
The poster also claims a limited edition Titanfall Xbox One is on the way, images of which can be seen below. This could very easily be photo-shopped from the confirmed controller we've seen previously; we're trying to verify and will update when we know more."
