XBOX ONE WHITE!

I have rumors about new xbox one special version check it out.

"Microsoft is reportedly working to bring a range of different Xbox One models to market, including its white employee-only one, along with disc-less and 1TB hard drive versions.
The report comes from an alleged insider on NeoGAF, though The Verge has been able to verify elements of the claims independently.
Please note that none of the below statements have been confirmed by Microsoft. IGN has reached out to try and verify what we can, but until then do not take any of the below as fact.
ubergizmo.com

The forum poster claims that a white version of the Xbox One will be made available alongside Sunset Overdrive in October. While The Verge doesn't confirm the timing, it has verified that the company is planning to release the white console this year. The forum poster also claims a limited edition 1TB model of the Xbox One will launch a month later in November.

Other rumours include a Xbox One console is on the way without a Blu-Ray drive, but with a bluetooth adapter. While no time frame is given for this, again The Verge claims that Microsoft has been testing such a device internally.

The poster also claims a limited edition Titanfall Xbox One is on the way, images of which can be seen below. This could very easily be photo-shopped from the confirmed controller we've seen previously; we're trying to verify and will update when we know more."

Sony Vita slim next month in UK

Remember when I write about something slim is coming from Sony? now we know what it is!

"JAPANESE VIDEO GAME OUTFIT Sony announced plans on Thursday to bring its PS Vita Slim handheld console to the UK
Sony PS Vita SlimThe PS Vita Slim made its debut in the Japan last year, and today Sony announced that the skinny console will be coming to the UK on 7 February, priced at £180. This sees the firm looking to challenge Nintendo's 2DS and 3DS handheld consoles, which reportedly are selling well despite disappointing Wii U sales.

As its name suggests, the PS Vita Slim is smaller than the original PS Vita. The device measures 183.6x85.1x15mm and weighs 219g, making the console 20 percent slimmer and 15 percent lighter than its predecessor.
The PS Vita Slim also improves on the original console with an IPS LCD screen rather than an OLED panel, and Sony claims that its battery will last for around six hours, considerably longer than the original Vita.
Beyond that, the specifications remain unchanged, with the PS Vita Slim featuring a quad-core ARM Cortex A9 Core processor, 512MB of RAM, a 5in 960x540 resolution touchscreen display, dual cameras and a microUSB charging port.

However, Sony has said that UK punters will only be able to buy the WiFi-only PS Vita Slim, rather than the model with 3G, adding that only the black model will be made available in Blighty.

Still, thanks to Sony's recent unveiling of Playstation Now, the handheldconsole will be capable of streaming Playstation 4 (PS4) games.
Sony said that the PS Vita Slim will be available to pre-order from today. It hasn't yet announced whether the console will see a release in the US."

Sony will emulate old games to ps4!!

Sony will make Playstation One and Playstation 2  games available on the Playstation 4.

"Unlike Playstation 3 (PS3) emulation, which will be hosted remotely on the new Playstation Now online service, games for the earlier consoles in Sony's Playstation canon will be rendered locally by an emulation engine.
sony

According to Eurogamer, the emulators will not only reproduce classic games of the past, but also upscale them in a way that won't lead to them becoming a blurry mess as in the past. The concept for an "HD remaster" on the fly will be more attractive to users than the cloud service that's being used to support PS3 games.

It is thought that titles will come to the Playstation Network in time, and that many of the features will be replicated on Playstation Now. However, because of the lower screen definition of the older games, it is more important to use the increased power of the PS4 to update the games to an acceptable level.

sony
This leads to the question, if Sony is doing this for older generation console games, why has it committed to a cloud service for PS3 titles? Apparently the answer is money, as it's an opportunity for the fans whose virtues Sony extolls in its present PS4 marketing campaign to pay for the games on the popular PS3 all over again.

As Moodys has reduced Sony's credit status to junk, the Japanese technology giant is finding more ways to capitalise on the loyal fanbase of its PS3 games consoles. Meanwhile, piles of useless PS3 optical discs litter charity shops in the UK"

Amazon console

Console for your living room from amazon? hmm have a look

"Last summer, rumors spread of Amazon's intentions to release an Android-based game console. At the time, the device was reportedly planned for the end of 2013--clearly, that timeframe has slipped away. But according to a report from VG247, the world's largest online retailer is still moving forward with the project, and the price point should come in "under $300."

amazonbox
ing.com

Reportedly, multiple game publishers were briefed on the console by Amazon. The device has drawn comparisons to the grey PSone, but with sharper edges. Lab 126, the Amazon-owned design company behind the Kindle, is allegedly working on the hardware.

Last year, the $99 Ouya console--which also runs on Android--faced a difficult time finding its place in the game hardware market. If Amazon's console is priced even higher, one might wonder how a similar piece of hardware running mobile games will find profitable sales figures. But given Amazon's massive customer base and brand, it's clear the company will have a leg-up."

Another rival for Oculus Rift!

Looks like 2014 is really a year for virtual reality proof? here you go another device have success campaign on kickstarter.

"A headset projecting images on to the retina has hit its financial target, just hours into a fundraising drive.
Avegant sought $250,000 (£150,000) for the Glyph headset, and has already secured pledges of $425,000 (£256,000).
kickstarter.com
The Glyph has no screen but instead bounces pictures into the eyes of users using two million tiny mirrors in a narrow reflective band.
The headset is designed for films, TV and video games, but with its screen flipped can be used to listen to audio.

In a video accompanying the launch on Kickstarter, Avegant chief executive Ed Tang said cash was needed to finish design work on the headset, and to establish how to cut production costs so it was cheap enough for the mass market.
Those pledging more than $499 (£300) were promised their own fully functioning prototype.

Pixellation 'reduced'

Avegant claimed that by reflecting light off the band of mirrors, the retina produced an image much sharper than was possible using screens made up of individual pixels. This also reduced the amount of pixellation seen with many other headset viewing devices, it said.
In addition, said Avegant, reflecting light meant it was possible to update images far more quickly than by refreshing a screen.

This could help with the motion sickness some people report with VR headsets, which often have a perceptible delay when a scene is updated.
The Glyph's big rival is likely to be the Oculus Rift headset, which also enjoyed strong backing on Kickstarter.
That headset uses two small screens to produce an immersive visual display suitable for showing films, TV and video games.

The Glyph has an HDMI input so that it can display anything from your content library such as movies that you own or Netflix movies that are streamed through your mobile device. You can also use Glyph for gaming with a PlayStation or Xbox console.

Watch this video to see how it works.

Gartner analyst Paul O'Donovan, said despite Avegant's claims it was unlikely the Glyph headset would be used while people were out and about.
"I just can't see people feeling comfortable wearing something so immersive in a public place, even on a plane," he said. "that limits this product to game players, some specialist scientific uses and perhaps as a novelty device to watch movies in bed without disturbing your partner."
"I think the bigger competition must come from a really big 65in 4K TV with a good surround sound system," he said "That's potentially more immersive and considerably more practical for everyday use, although not at all portable."

PC that fit in your pocket!!!

Here is a article about small computer, small enough it fits in your pocket and specs are not that small, worth reading enjoy!!

"It seems like every single PC builder is looking to make a device that works in the living room. Even PC gaming giant Valve is trying with the introduction of its Steam Machines. A new entry is coming to the market called Tango, and as far as size goes, this thing is positively tiny.

Tango promises to be one of the most portable PC solutions on the market

The Tango PC is only 4.9 inches long, 3.15 inches wide, and 0.5 inches thick (125 x 80 x 13.5 mm). That would certainly be small enough to carry around in most pockets, which is something one would not be able to do with most traditional PCs, even of the laptop variety.

The reason Tango is able to be made so small is because of the separate docking system it uses, which houses all of the necessary ports such as USB, HDMI, ethernet, AV, and power. A user jacks the portable part into the dock, and that is what allows the computer to actually function.

Each PC can be used with multiple docks, allowing the same one to be used in multiple locations. The dock itself is not much larger than the actual PC, coming with dimensions of 5.3 inches long, 5.3 inches wide, and 1.06 inches tall (135 x 135 x 27 mm). Wi-Fi is also built in, meaning no additional dongles are required.

While the Tango team's stated aim is to create device as "powerful and as functional as a desktop," its small footprint means it's using laptop hardware rather than full-sized desktop components. The specs are modest, coming with an AMD A6-5200 Quad Core 2GHz processor with an integrated GCN GPU HD8400. This means that high-end PC games are not going to run on it, but the creators have demoed it running Call of Duty 4 (a shooter from 2007), and it seems to run well. Looking at some benchmarks, games like COD: Ghosts will run at about 14 FPS, Battlefield 4 at 20 FPS, and Assassin's Creed IV at about 15 FPS; all unplayable frame rates.

Additional specs include a single DDR3 RAM socket with support for 2-8 GB of memory, and a SATA III mSATA SSD socket that can support a solid state drive.

Tango included a small battery that allows the device to suspend when removed from a docking station and resume right where a user left off when plugged in again. If the system is left in standby mode for more than a few hours, it automatically moves the data over the to disk and goes into hibernation to prevent any loss.

The video below shows the Tango being demonstrated at CES 2014.

A key thing the folks behind the device point out is that in spite of it being enclosed in a tiny box, it can be opened and upgraded. Users simply pop the RAM or HDD out and place a new one in. This is something PC users are accustomed to, so it could prove to be a major selling point for the device going forward.

A concern that Tango has addressed is heat. There are no fans on the portable device itself. Instead, it uses proprietary technology to transfer heat from the PC into the docking station, where a heatsink and fan are located. Time will tell how well this actually cools the system, but in theory, the design makes sense.

Tango Team promises support for Linux, Chrome OS, and full Windows 7 and 8 certification. This also means Steam OS could be installed, making for an incredibly tiny Steam Machine.

The creators of Tango are seeking funding on Indiegogo. Their campaign has already exceeded its US$100,000 goal, with time reaming in the funding period. The minimum pledge required to receive a Tango and docking station is US$299, and it includes 4GB of RAM, a 32GB mSATA SSD drive, and a Windows 7 Home Premium trial edition. The company is expecting to deliver the PCs top backers in April of 2014.

The video below provides more information on the Tango PC."

"A new Grand Theft Auto 5 tsunami mod allows users to sink the fictional city of Los Santos and ride around the state in a submarine.

To play this version of the action-adventure title, you need to move some files around with the use of a modded PS3. Created by gamer Bushigan, the mod makes “GTA V” feel like a completely different game. The following videos show the mod in action.

Grand Theft Auto V, which launched last October for the Xbox 360 and PS3 to highly favorable reviews, is an open-world action game developed by Scotland-based Rockstar North and published by NYC-based Rockstar Games. “GTA V” was the 15th installment in the “GTA” series and the first game since 2008’s “GTA IV.” The Spike Video Game Awards gave the title the Most Anticipated Game award in 2012.

Following its release, "GTA V" received the Game of the Year award at the 2013 Golden Joystick Awards. Only three days following its release, IGN listed “GTA V” as second on its list of “Top 25 Xbox 360 Games."

Sony will announce something big....emm small.

Sony will show something slim at the end of month, its a small chance for ps4 slimmer possibility is for slimmest ps vita, according to an invitation received by IGN Friday.
cnet.com

"Though a PlayStation 4 overhaul would certainly shake up the industry, it wouldn't exactly be a practical move for Sony, leading many to conclude that the announcement is likely regarding a wider release of the company's PlayStation Vita PCH-2000, the ultraslim model it rolled out to Japan and Asia last fall.

"Following the biggest launch in PlayStation history, join us for an introduction to the slimmest," the invite reads, setting the date at January 30. The PS Vita Slim is in fact the most compact handheld in Sony's lineup, measuring 20 percent thinner than the current Vita available for US and Europe, and weighing 15 percent less.
The device also contains a 5-inch LED screen, dropping the OLED display from the previous iteration, and comes with 1GB of internal storage that will now let people play games without their needing to buy a separate memory card.

Beyond those tweaks and the additional array of six colors available for Japan and Asia units at the moment, the PS Vita Slim doesn't bring too dramatic a change to the handheld. It's currently retailing for 18,980 yen, or $190, in Japan. "

Interesting experiment with Oculus Rift and two bodes and boobes!!

Very interesting experiment with oculus rift and two people that swap their body's Oh and beware nudity on video means boobes :D

"BeAnother Lab is taking advantage of the first-person perspective of Oculus Rift to explore ideas of gender, intimacy, mutual respect and more.

The Gender Swap experiment (for thus it is named) makes use of a larger project called The Machine To Be Another. That broader system's first-person cameras and the device's head-mounted display allow participants in the Gender Swap to switch to the point of view of a differently gendered user.

By continuously agreeing actions to perform, the project aims to keep the sensation of being in another body without being disrupted by incongruous or unexpected gestures. There's a video which demonstrates the experience a little better but it involves a degree of nudity so it's probably NSFW.

The Machine To Be Another has already allowed for the exploration of several experiences in a similar vein including a woman who uses a wheelchair sharing an account of disrespect directed at those with physical disabilities.

BeAnother Lab is also interested in how the technology could be used in rehabilitation and body perception. Projects suggested using the technology as part of a medical hack day have included working with people with anorexia and rehabilitating those whose use of one side of their body has been affected by a stroke."
